Meet our pastors

Pastor Narciso Tecson
Born on November 14, 1953, in Manila Philippines , I was the youngest of 5 children of Mariano and Isabel Tecson. I have 3 brothers and one beautiful sister. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, which an emphasis in Accounting, from San Sebastian College in Cavite City . From 1978-1984, I worked in Manila Banking Corporation where I met my beautiful wife Eleanor Elizaga. Later, I became part owner/manager of Karagatan Seafood House, where I came to know and have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ by eavesdropping on one of the Bible studies being held one evening. In April of 1985, the Lord called me to the ministry and I became Associate Pastor of San Andres Baptist Church. In 1990 we had the privilege to come to California and serve in Pilipino Community Church , where I am currently serving as the Senior Pastor all by the grace of God. My wife and I are blessed with 4 children—Donna, now married to Jon Basilio, Chrissie, Michael, Sarah, and our grandchild, Jonah. To God be the glory!

Pastor Patrick De Claro
God works in mysterious ways. Whenever I think of my life this saying always comes to mind. My name is Patrick de Claro. I was born July 27, 1974 in Manila, Philippines. I have 2 brothers, Eugene and Jeremiah. I grew up in a Christian family, went to Christian schools, Christian academy of Manila and Faith Christian School. Growing up I assumed that I was already a Christian because of my background but God made a way. On March 20, 1988. He made me realize my need to trust in Jesus as my Lord and personal Savior. I surrendered my life and my will to Him. During my sophomore year in High school, I was already aware that God was calling me to be a pastor but there was one thing that held me back…my speech impediment. But again God was faithful. He assured me of His presence and power in 2 Cor. 12:9 which says, Finally, He said, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in your weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may work through me. Again, I surrendered my life and my will to Him. I went to Baptist Bible Seminary and Institute in Taytay, Rizal in 1991 - 1997 where I got my Bachelors of Theology. After which, I served as youth pastor in Greenhills Christian Fellowship, Alabang from 1997 – 1998. After a year and a half, I felt God’s leading to America. Myriads International Church in Cerritos, California invited me to be their guest speaker in a series of summer camps. God worked again in mysterious ways. After that summer commitment, God led me to a church that needed a youth pastor, Pilipino Community Church. From that time on, God has put a heavy burden in my heart to serve and influence this generation of students to live their lives passionately for Christ. Also, God has blessed me with a sweet, loving and supportive wife, Abigail. We have 3 wonderful kids (as of now): Katrina, Joshua, Kathleen, and one in the oven. We will continue following God as in the words of Joshua, “As for me and my house we will serve the Lord”. To God be the glory because His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

Pastor Nathaniel Hipe
I was born in the Philippines, particularly in Borongan, Eastern Samar, and was raised in Tacloban City, Leyte. I became a Christian during the summer of 1984. At some point during my junior high school year, I became aware that God was calling me to be a minister of His Word on a full time basis. After I went to college for two years, I then proceeded to take my seminary training at Baptist Bible Seminary and Institute which is situated at Taytay, Rizal. Following my six years of preparation, the Lord led me to minister as an Associate Pastor for four years at Buyagan Christian Fundamental Baptist Church of La Trinidad, Benguet. After which, God gave me the privilege of coming over here in the U.S.A. to pursue a graduate degree and simultaneously serve as the College Pastor of the Pilipino Community Church in Baldwin Park, California.

What we believe

Our Statement of Faith:
We believe in the Scriptures, the 66 books of both the Old and New Testament, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

We believe in One God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true Man, having been conceived of the Holy Sprit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven, where at the right hand of the Majesty on high, He now is our High Priest and Advocate.

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to Glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to convict sinful man and to regenerate the unbelieving sinner and to indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

Our Mission Statement:
To bring people to Jesus and become a member of God’s Family, the church, to develop them into Christ-like maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world. All this to magnify the name of God.
